Music Box Camp

Ages 6 mos.-3 yrs.
(with parent or caregiver)

A high energy, nurturing class promoting musical
development. Enjoy music games, singing & signing, parachute fun, playing rhythm instruments & African drums. Students especially enjoy our large gathering drum!

Peter and the Wolf
Orchestra Camp

Ages 3-5 yrs

Discover the orchestra through the children’s classic “Peter and the Wolf” while developing life skills such as confidence, team work, listening & vocal skills through hula hoops, puppetry, rhythm instruments, drums & finely tuned “Orff” instruments. “This is a great class for students beginning Pre-K or Kindergarten in the fall. Students perform
on the last day of class.

Larry the Lobster's Keyboard
Adventures Camp

 Ages 3-6 yrs

An introduction to learning the names of the piano keys, musical scale and symbol recognition. Students learn songs, music exercises, and play rhythm instruments while building a foundation for musical pursuits. This is a great class to discover if your student is ready to pursue a keyboard or choral class in the fall.

Larry the Lobster's Keyboard Adventures
& Drum Circle Camp

Ages 5-7 yrs

The keyboard class listed above will incorporate drum circle activities. Students learn to recognize and play drum patterns while using Djeimbe drums, African drums, Remo shakers, and wood-sounds in a fun and friendly environment. A student demonstration will be presented on the last day of class.

“Funga Alafia” High Energy Choral & Drums Camp

Ages 5 – 7 yrs

A children’s tune from Africa is a spring board for this high energy choral and drumming camp. Moving and singing encourages and strengthens vocal development. Learn to play a variety of percussion instruments, while gaining stage experience and confidence with the joy of singing. You will be amazed by the performance on the last day of class!

Marathon Piano Camp

Grades K-3rd, 4th-6th

Focus on the fundamentals with note reading, symbol recognition and keyboard geography. Enjoy playing musical games while learning about composers and music theory. Parents enjoy a demonstration on the last day of class.

Power Up Piano &
Drum Camp

Grades 1st-3rd, 4th-6th

You will be amazed at what students learn in this fast paced piano and drum camp. Students learn the names of the keys, note names and symbol recognition. Students begin to play fun popular songs, music theory games and learn to read drum patterns each day. There is a parent demonstration at the end of the last class.

Cardio Piano & Guitar Camp

Grades 1st-4th

With emphasis on the keyboard, this beginning level camp explores the piano and guitar basics. Skills taught include note reading & symbol recognition. Students play fun popular songs along with music theory games each day. There is a parent demonstration on the last day of class. Guitars are provided, if needed.

Guitar Boot Camp

Grades 1st-3rd, 4th-6th

A beginning level creative course teaches chords, fingering, rhythm patterns, note reading and tuning while incorporating games and activities to retain the knowledge learned in this class. This is a great camp for students who might be considering group or private lessons in the fall. Parents are welcome to observe, however, no younger children please. Students perform a demonstration on the last day of class.

Bicep Strengthening
Drum & Percussion

Ages 8 and up

Find your rhythm on a Djembe drum or percussion instrument by learning to recognize, read & play drum patterns. Students learn the basics of drum set lessons. Everyone is part of a daily performance and parents enjoy a demonstration on the last day of class.

“Get in The Game”
Musical Theater Camp

Grades K-3rd

A Sports Musical teaches boys and girls to celebrate the champion inside them! Songs include “Get in the Game”, Having a Ball”, “I’m a Champion” and more. Skills taught are music theory, vocal training, stage presence, choreography, team work and confidence building!

“Music All Over Me” Musical Theatre Camp

 K - Adults

“When I hear the beat…..I just gotta move my feet”! Boys and girls will celebrate the music in them while learning clever rhyming dialog that keeps them moving! Songs include “Hand Jive”, “Hop Till you Drop” and more. Skills taught include music theory, vocal training, choreography, team work, & stage presence!

Chess for Success Camps

Beginners Ages 6-9, 10-Adults

The ultimate game of strategy and conflict has been widely acclaimed as having a positive effect on student development. Come meet new friends and learn the skills needed to play casual chess. Students will learn piece movement, endgame, middle game, tactics and strategy. Materials used are US Chess Fed. equipment.

"Encore" Vocal
Audition Camp

Grades 3rd-6th, 7th-10th

Ever wanted to audition for a talent show, musical, play or church group, but lack the confidence necessary? This camp focuses on that process. Songs will be selected on the first day and during the week students will learn proper vocal and breathing techniques & stage presence. Students will learn how to work with an accompanist as well as building & constructing an audition resume. The last day will include a mock audition and performance. Experience helpful but not required.

“True Performers” Camp (Voice or Piano)

 Grades 4th-9th

Performance anxiety and stage fright is faced by all
musicians. Attending this camp will help you become a stronger performer. Skills taught will be confidence
building, exercises and performance prep & presentation. A demonstration will be presented on the last day of class. Must have at least 2 years of voice, piano, musical theatre or any combination.

Piano Praise Camp

Grades 4th-7th, 8th & up

Have a great time playing worship music and learning to play from a chord chart and lead sheet. Students grow in their understanding of music theory as they construct chords and inversions. The last day of class there is a demonstration for parents.
